It’s been 10 years since we last ran this extremely popular and successful event. After all the lockdowns and limitations on face-to-face events the past few years, now is a great time to connect with each other.
This event will be ideal for new CDAA members including students to meet existing members and learn from their experience about the tools and approaches they find work best. We also welcome people considering joining CDAA to find out more about being a member first-hand. It is a great opportunity for our established CDAA members to share their experiences and for everyone to learn from each other.
CDAA members have incredibly diverse backgrounds and skillsets, and we all have different and interesting stories to tell about why we became members, our professional approaches, the tools, and methodologies we use and the type of clients we serve. This is a great chance to learn from each other, help to grow our knowledge of each other and our profession overall.
How will the event work?
After a brief introduction and a short presentation about Melbourne Business School, we will provide the opportunity for new and existing members to meet and learn about each other in a quick-fire fashion. Like speed dating (if anyone has tried it) members will rotate and get to talk with each other for 8 minutes, to share about themselves, learn about the other person, and retain what they have learned before moving to the next person. It’s fast, it’s fun and it’s informative.
Canapes will be served along with tea and coffee throughout the evening and a bar is available for you to buy additional beverages. Dietary requirements will be catered for. At the end of the night, we will have a fun quiz with prizes to see who has learnt the most about their colleagues.
