NSW E-Forum: Community of Practice - April

We invite members to join the CDAA NSW Division in April for an online Community of Practice event for 2024.

Our topic for discussion will be Ethical Dilemmas in Career Practice. As professionals, we’re guided by the CICA Professional Standards but sometimes questionable situations arise that aren’t listed in a guideline or document.

A moral (ethical) dilemma is a paradoxical, uncomfortable situation or problem that involves a conflicting and often difficult choice, decision or act/action. You may feel you simply do not know what to do or which way to turn, your moral principles are being challenged, or you need to make a choice between competing values.

You’re invited to bring your own professional dilemmas you’ve encountered to the Community of Practice, to consider and talk through. This is an opportunity to invite other perspectives to shed light on your dilemma.

We’ll have plenty of time to share, meet other CDAA members, people you may know and some new faces!

This FREE member-only event will be an opportunity to meet, share, learn and collaborate with others. This event is open to CDAA NSW members and any interstate members who might see the value in this opportunity.

NOTE: Due to the confidential nature of this discussion, this event will not be recorded. We’ll ask you to keep this discussion confidential, and if you do share a dilemma, please de-identify the case and keep the information general in nature.
