Queensland CDAA member Leanne Watts will join our August session to share about her work as a Rehabilitation Counsellor and allied health professional where she is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, illnesses, or injuries. 

Leanne is the founder of Inclusion @ Heart, where she assists people with physical, mental, and/or social conditions who have NDIS funding. 

As a careers practitioner and healthcare consumer and advocate, Leanne actively promotes social, educational, and economic inclusion. She has been actively involved in research exploring complex health systems research with several universities and engaging in translational initiatives to improve the lives of people with disabilities, and complex illnesses.

Group discussion will focus on working as a Rehabilitation Counsellor and the connection with career counselling and support. 

The Queensland CDAA Community of Practice is proving to be a fantastic “community hall” style of networking and learning for members. This online meetup is a regular (and growing) monthly event for members to gather online together, connect, and build a community of practice. 

This event is open to all Queensland CDAA members and any interstate members who would like to drop by to say hello and join us. This is a FREE event. Attendees are encouraged to actively participate in sharing ideas and to join in collaborative discussion.
