QLD E-Forum: Online Community of Practice Meetup - July

An opportunity to meet, share, learn and collaborate with other members!

Queensland CDAA member Nina Perry will join our July session to share about her career work with university students. A great session for all career practitioners who either work with university students or have clients who are considering higher education study.

Nina will share the common barriers university career teams see students facing. Presentation and discussion will also focus on new perspectives and practical tools to support students during their time at university and as they transition into the workforce.

Nina will also share the top 5 things every university student should know when they entered university, and what students see as the most useful career development activities for their professional growth while they are studying.

Nina is a qualified career development consultant who is part of the Careers and Employment team at Griffith University. She also runs a small private practice, is a guest lecturer at James Cook University and is currently pursuing further studies in wellbeing at the University of Melbourne.

The Queensland CDAA Community of Practice is proving to be a fantastic “community hall” style of networking and learning for members. This online meetup is a regular (and growing) monthly event for members to gather online together, connect, and build a community of practice.

This July event is open to all Queensland CDAA members and any interstate members who would like to drop by to say hello and join us. This is a FREE event. Attendees are encouraged to actively participate in sharing ideas and to join in collaborative discussion.

See you there!
