Putting ‘pen to paper’ is more than correct grammar. What’s the right tone for a newsletter or website update or, heaven forbid, a blog? What tech tools are best for a Facebook or Instagram post? How can we bring our ideas to life in a video?
During this interactive workshop, you will learn how to:
- Create compelling headlines and engaging content for newsletters, Instagram, Tiktok and Facebook
- Capture attention with career tips and quotes using Pixabay and Canva
- Re-purpose your content by creating a video using simple software such as Animoto
Attendees are advised to bring their notepad/laptop in order to participate fully in the interactive activities. It would be helpful if attendees set up a free account with Canva.com and with Animoto.com before attending the session.
Please also bring a mobile internet device (eg. mobile phone with internet connection) in order to connect your notepad/laptop to the internet. Wifi may not be provided by the venue.
