Webinar: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Rescheduled

It is becoming more widely accepted that diversity and inclusion in the workplace is good for people and business. Large businesses as well as Small to Medium Enterprises now have diversity, equity and inclusion strategies, mandates and initiatives.

Often these form a significant part of a business’s Employee Value Proposition, Reconciliation Action Plan and Talent Attraction and Retention programs.

As Career Development Practitioners we have a significant role to play in influencing positive diversity and inclusion in the workplace, as we often sit between employers and the student/jobseeker/employee. Whether in private practice or working within educational institutions or in organisations/industry, career practitioners can be advocates for/champions of diversity and inclusion.

In this webinar, we will explore what businesses are doing today to improve DEI. We’ll hear about RMIT’s Guide for Diverse and Inclusive Student Recruitment: a guide for employers. And we’ll consider some of the ways we can include DEI in our practices.
