Webinar: Supporting Clients with Mental Health Issues

Tina Papadakos will share on her experiences as a Psychologist and Careers Consultant in our upcoming webinar. She will offer some strategies that can help when providing careers counselling to clients with mental health issues.

Gain tips for setting up your practice appropriately, signs you may observe in clients with common mental health concerns, maintaining role boundaries as a Careers professional and when and how to refer the client for further clinical support. 

This session provides an opportunity for both new and experienced careers practitioners to gain and/or share insights in supporting the career development needs of clients with mental health issues, whilst also attending to their wellbeing. 

Presenter Bio - Tina Papadakos, Psychology for Careers

Tina is passionate about supporting students and adults to develop a vision and purpose for their work and life. She has over 30 years’ experience, as a psychologist and careers professional, offering careers counselling, vocational assessments and organisational development services to education, industry and individuals. An enthusiasm for positive psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to complement vocational theory, informs this work.

Tina holds memberships with Career Development Association Australia (CDAA),the National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (NAGCAS), the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
